Local Bowling Tournament 2001

The 15th Annual Local Bowling Tournament was held at Hiester's Lanes on Saturday November 17, 2001. There were approximately 85 bowlers in competition and about 40 volunteers. Everyone had a great time. Again we couldn't do this event without the help of the many volunteers, including the Pioneer Club from Lucent Technologies and our main sponsor and honorary chairman local PBA member Frankie May. Our torch bearers. All competed in the Summer Games. Mark Nice on the right won a gold medal. Kim Stamm on the left won a silver medal and Lori Snyder in the middle came in fourth. They also served as honorary award presenters to the different heats	Our Global Messenger Loretta Stump along with the torch bearers lead the other athletes in the saying of the Special Olympics oath.
